Dr. Jon Mandracchia received his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2009, and is a licensed psychologist in Missouri (#2016001839).  During his graduate training, he conducted forensic mental health evaluations and evaluations for determination of intellectual disability through Lubbock Regional MHMR, as well as psychodiagnostic evaluations in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s psychiatric prison, the John T. Montford Unit.  Dr. Mandracchia completed his predoctoral internship at the US Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (a US Bureau of Prisons facility in Springfield, Missouri), which included a four-month rotation focused on forensic and correctional evaluations.  Dr. Mandracchia taught Objective Personality Assessment and Adult Cognitive and Abilities Assessment in the APA-accredited Counseling Psychology PhD program at the University of Southern Mississippi.  He is currently an associate professor of psychology at Avila University, where he serves as program director of the Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) program and teaches Individual Intelligence Assessment to the MSCP students.  As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Mandracchia has conducted Competency to Stand Trial evaluations for the Missouri Department of Mental Health (via both the Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center in St. Joseph and the Center for Behavioral Medicine in Kansas City).
