I am passionate about helping others understand themselves and their partners in order that they may deepen and strengthen their relationships. I feel a lack of self-worth is at the core of most relationship issues, and I seek to help soothe that conflict using tools you can apply every day.
As a therapist, I specialize in creating self-worth, healing from narcissist abuse, recovering from religious trauma, and nurturing healthy relationships.
I am married to the love of my life, Kenny, and we have a blended family with 5 children, ages 17 to 24. We also have two very spoiled dogs, Daphne and Phoebe. In my spare time, I love watching football, making jewelry, and creating content on social media.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas and a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. I received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. Previously, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. I am currently being supervised for clinical licensure by Drew Fisher, LPC.
ISSUES: Anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, stress, grief, relationships, self-esteem, coping strategies and binge eating disorders. My ideal client is someone who would like to have a better relationship with themself. Learning self-worth and self-compassion, finding your purpose, and healing after narcissist abuse are a few of my strengths. I also like working with singles who are rebuilding their identity after divorce.

FEE FOR SERVICE
Fee-for-service therapy has the highest level of security and confidentiality, as only a judge may request my client records via a subpoena. Insurance companies are not involved, thus your mental health diagnosis will not become a part of your medical record and stays only between you and me. This choice protects you from acquiring a pre-existing behavioral health condition on your medical record.
I am currently cash pay only; however, I am willing to negotiate fees.
I accept cash, checks and credit cards. Payment must be made at the time of service.
Because the appointment time is reserved for you, if you must cancel your appointment, it is important for you to do so at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Late cancellations are subject to the full fee of the session.
